Georgios 104 was bishop of Catana (Katana); owner of a seal dateable to the seventh century: Laurent, Corpus V 1, no. 893 = Gray Birch, BMSeals 17639 (pp. 36-37) = Carini, "Sopra un sigillo siciliano". Obv.: Geor - gii - episc(opi). Rev.: + - s(an)c(t)ae - Eccl(esiae) - Cat(anensis). Gray Birch misread the name of the bishop, correctly read by Carini. Georgios 104 is probably identical with the bishop of Katana who attended a Council in Rome in October 679 (Mansi XI 179C; cf. Jaffé I, p. 238). See Laurent, op. cit., p. 701, note. In 680 the bishop was Ioulianos 3.
