Eustathios 27 was a basilikos protospatharios and epi ton deeseon; owner of a seal dateable between the mid ninth century and the early tenth: Zacos II, 147. Obv.: patriarchal cross on base and three steps; circular inscription of Κ(υρι)ε βοηθ......δουλωι. The name and titles read: A similar seal with the same name and titles survives, possibly belonging to the same individual: Laurent, Corpus II, no. 244 (dated late ninth or early tenth century). Cf. also Eustathios 42.
