Eusebios 4 was a Stoudite monk, addressee of a letter from Theodoros 15 (Theodore the Stoudite) written in 816/817; he was with his fellow Stoudite Eleutherios 5 and had written to Theodoros 15, then in exile, with gifts; he had also contemplated visiting Theodoros in exile but changed his mind: Theod. Stud., Ep. 212, pp. 334-335 (addressed Εὐσεβίῳ τέκνῳ). In 818 he was living with his fellow monk Ignatios 22 and was greeted by Theodoros 15: Theod. Stud., Ep. 308, pp. 451-452. Later, in 821 and 826 he was sent with two other monks by Theodoros 15 to inform the hegoumenos Basilios 129 of the details of the penance imposed on him: Theod. Stud., Ep. 60, pp. 171-172.
