Eugenios 6 was hegoumenos of the monastery of Stoudios at Constantinople during the absence of Nikolaos 26; he succeeded Theodosios 43, apparently in 864, but died after only four months and was succeeded in turn by Theodoros Santabarenos (Theodoros 174): Vita Nic. Stud. 912B (τοῦτον i.e. Theodosios 43 Εὐγένιος τελευτήσαντα διαδέχεται).
