Epiphanios 14 was a basilikos silentiarios; owner of a seal dateable to the early ninth century: Seibt, Bleisiegel, no. 176. Obv.: invocative monogram of Κύριε βοήθει with the legend τω - σω - δου - λω. Rev.: +Επι - φανηω β(ασιλικῷ) - σελεντι - αριω. Seibt proposes to identify this man with Epiphanios 42.
