Elias 29 was hegoumenos of the polis of Amorion; owner of a seal dateable to the seventh century: Likhachev, Molivdovuly LXXII 5 (M-8131). The name and title read: Ἠλία ἡγουμένου πόλεως τοῦ Ἀμορίου. He was perhaps hegoumenos of the monastery of the city of Amorion; cf. e.g. Dorotheos 1 and Ignatios 17.
