Domitianos 2 was a monk who is recorded in one of the sermons of Theodoros 15 (Theodore the Stoudite); he is referred to as τέκνον Δομετιανέ by Theodoros 15 and urged to be the soul-mate (σύμψυχος) of his leading fellow-monk, Loukianos 5: Theod. Stud., Catech. Magna II 70 (p. 491 Papadopoulos-Kerameus). Loukianos 5 was the hegoumenos of the Monastery of Hagios Christophoros and Domitianos 2 was perhaps his second in command (perhaps the deutereuon of the monastery).

He is probably not to be identified with Domitianos 3, who apparently became hegoumenos at the same time as Loukianos 5 and so could not have served in any office under him.
