Domitianos 3 was a monk and apparently was appointed by Theodoros 15 (Theodore the Stoudite) to be hegoumenos of the monastery of Sakkoudion; Domitianos 3 and Loukianos 5 were both urged by Theodoros 15 in one of his sermons to consider how they will guide the monks entrusted by Theodoros 15 to their care (βλέπε τοίνυν, πῶς προηγεῖσαι τῶν ἀδελφῶν σου καὶ τέκνων μου); Dometianos 3 is addressed as τέκνον μου Δομετιανέ: Theod. Stud., Catech. Magna II 58 (p. 412 Papadopoulos-Kerameus). The sermon was addressed to the monks of the two monasteries of Hagios Christophoros and Sakkoudion and the order of the names implies that Loukianos 5 was hegoumenos of Hagios Christophoros, and Domitianos 3 of Sakkoudion.
