Basilios 120 was kuaistor; addressee of letters from the patriarch Photius (Photios 1), probably written between 859 and 867: Photius, Ep. 48 (I 93f. Laourdas-Westerink), Ep. 154 (II 9 Laourdas-Westerink) (both addressed Βασιλείῳ κοιαίστορι). Basilios 120 was advised not to allow avarice to affect his administration of justice: Ep. 48 (I 93f. Laourdas-Westerink). Basilios 120 gave justice fairly during his early time in office but was now said to be taking bribes: Ep. 154 (II 9 Laourdas-Westerink) (πάντα σέ φασιν ξρυσῷ πράττειν).
