Anonymus 649 was bishop of Kotyaion in Phrygia Salutaris; in 692 he was represented at the Quinisext Council by one of his priests, Ioannes 76, who signed the canons on his behalf: Ohme, Bischofsliste, p. 165, no. 189 (= Mansi XI 1001) (Ἰωάννης διάκονος τῆς Κοτυαείων πόλεως τὸν τόπον ἀναπληρῶν τοῦ ἁγιωτάτου μου ἐπισκόπου).
