A Lombard, Anonymus 316 was one of the followers of Alahis 1 at the battle of Coronate; when Alahis 1 claimed to see an icon of the archangel Michael among the spears of the opposing army, under Cunincpert 1, this man claimed that Alahis 1's terror made him see what was not there: Paul.
