Anonymus 264 was the consularis of Ravenna in 772; he conducted the public trial of Paulus Afiarta (Paulos 51), delivered to him by the archbishop, Leo 114, and later, when pope Hadrian I (Hadrianos 1) tried to recover the person of Paulos 51, Anonymus 264 executed Paulos 51, at the request of Leo 114: Lib. Pont. 97. 14 ( tradidit eundem Paulum consulari Ravennantium urbis ), 97. 16 ( accersito consulare Ravennantium civitatis, praecepit ei ipsum interficiendum Paulum ). His office was perhaps descended from that of the consularis Flaminiae et Piceni , attested in the later Roman Empire.
