Anonymus 238 was the governor of Sicily ( iudex provinciae ); after the death of pope Conon (Konon 10) in 687 he arrested Konstantinos 135, over whom there was a popular revolt; the authorities who tried Konstantinos 135 could not come to an agreement and referred the matter to the emperor: Lib. Pont. 85. 4. He was perhaps the strategos of Sicily.
