Anonyma 109 was betrothed to Dionysios 4 when she fell gravely ill; she was cured after the intervention of Theodoros 15 (Theodore the Stoudite), who sent Anonyma 109 holy oil from Pteleai, where he was then staying (the date was therefore c. 821; see Theodoros 15): Vita B Theod. Stud., 305B, Vita C Theod. Stud. 61, p. 293, Vita A Theod. Stud., 209A. The incident took place near Metata of Lakkos, not far from Smyrna; cf. Leo 259 (father of Dionysios 4).
