Anonyma 57 was a nun in the monastery of Kloubion in Constantinople; according to one source, she was the daughter of the abbess (Anonyma 56; see Petrus, Vita Ioannicii 58: ἡ προλεχθεῖσα ἡγουμένη ἅμα τῇ θυγατρί αὐτῆς); she succeeded her mother as abbess, an event foreseen by St Ioannikios (Ioannikios 2) who, when they visited him (on Mt Trichalix, near the monastery of the Agauroi) to receive his blessing, unexpectedly handed the staff of office (ῥάβδον ποιμνιαρχίας) to her and not to her mother; soon after their return to Constantinople, the mother died and the daughter became abbess in her place: Sabas, Vita Ioannicii 33, Petrus, Vita Ioannicii 58. The date when she became abbess of the monastery of Kloubion was probably late in the reign of Michael II (Michael 10) or soon afterwards; see Anonyma 56. She was still alive and in office when Petros 126 wrote the Life of Ioannikios (after the death of Ioannikios 2 in 846): Petrus, Vita Ioannicii 58 (τῇ δὲ θυγατρὶ αὐτῆς ἡ ἀρχὴ ἐδόθη, ἥτις καὶ νῦν εὐβίουσα τὰ τῆς ἀρχικῆς ἀξίας διέπει).
