Anonyma 6 was an Arab woman with the gift of prophecy (Ἀγαρηνοῦ τινος γυναίου πνεῦμα Πύθωνος ἔχοντος, Ps.-Symeon; γύναιόν τι ληφθὲν ἐκ τῶν Ἄγαρ κατὰ τοὺς πολέμους τούτους Πύθωνος κατεχόμενον πνεύματι, Theoph. Cont. III 27, (p. 121)), said to have been captured during the reign of the emperor Theophilus (Theophilos 5) and to have made a number of prophecies to him: Ps.-Symeon 635, Theoph. Cont. III 27 (pp. 121-122), Scyl., pp. 72-73, Genesius III 15. See Ioannes 5, Martinakios 1, Konstantinos 42, Niketas 157, Georgios 230 and Georgios 58. Her alleged prophecies were all composed after the event and she is a fiction.
