Andreas 54 was a basilikos protospatharios and komes of the Opsikion; owner of a seal dateable to the ninth or tenth century: DOSeals III 39.21. Obv.: patriarchal cross on four steps, with a circular inscription reading: +Κε βοηθ' τω σω δουλω. Rev.: +Ανδρεα - β' α' σπαθ' και κ - ομητ' του - Οψηκηου. The name and titles read: Ἀνδρέᾳ βασιλικῳ πρωτοσπαθαρίῳ καὶ κόμητι τοῦ Ὀψηκήου. For a similar seal, see Seibt, Bleisiegel,p. 242 and cf. Andreas 24.
