Zenon 1 was apo eparchon; owner of a seal dateable to the late seventh century or the early eighth: Zacos and Veglery 2571. Obv.: cruciform monogram of Θεοτόκε βοήθει, with the name Ζ - η - νω - νη in the corners. Rev.: απ - ο επ - αρχ - ων, with cypresses to left and right and a cross over tendrils above. The name and title read: Ζήνωνι ἀπὸ ἐπάρχων.
