Zenobios 1 was a monk of the monastery (τοῦ κοινοβίου) of Hagios Porphyrios (on the Rhyndakos, near lake Apollonias); gravely ill with cancer of the arm, he was miraculously cured by Peter of Atroa (Petros 34): Vita Petr. Atr. 78, p. 211. The date was in 835/836, at the very end of Petros 34's life.
