Victorianus 1 was bishop of Uzalis in Africa Proconsularis; he attended all five sessions of the Lateran Council, from 5 October to 31 October 649, and in the list of bishops present is named in one hundred and sixth and last place: Conc. Lat., p. 6, line 35 (Βικτορίνου ἐπισκόπου Οὐζάλεως), p. 7, line 35 ("Victoriano Uzalense episcopo") (the first session), cf. pp. 35, 115, 181 and 251 (the Latin version only is repeated for the other sessions). He subscribed the definition of the faith agreed by the Council at its fifth session: Conc. Lat., p. 400, line 35 (Βικτορῖνος ἐπίσκοπος Οὐζάλεως), p. 401, line 35 ("Victorianus episcopus sanctae Uzalensis ecclesiae").
