Thomas 43 was apo eparchon and logothetes of the praitorion; owner of a seal dateable to the eighth century (Laurent), possibly to the first half (Zacos and Veglery): Zacos and Veglery 3209 = Laurent, Corpus II, no. 1089. Obv. : cruciform monogram of Θεοτόκε βοήθει, with τω - σω - [δ]ου - λω in the corners. Rev.: Θωμ[α] - αποεπ. - λογο' τ[ου] - πρετο[ρ] - ι[ο]υ. The name and titles read: Θωμᾷ ἀπὸ ἐπάρχων καὶ λογοθέτῃ τοῦ πραιτωρίου.
