Thomas 39 was perhaps the owner of two seals dateable between the mid seventh century and the mid eighth: Zacos and Veglery 1667a and b. Obv.: cruciform monogram of Θεωτόκε βοήθει (sic). Rev.: cruciform monogram containing the letters Α, Θ, Μ, Ο, Ρ, Τ, Ω, with the letters Π - Ω in the upper two corners. The name of the owner could have been Thomas (Θωμα) and the remaining letters part of his title. What the latter was is uncertain but it may have begun with "proto" (πρωτο) or similar.
