Thomas 37 was a basilikos spatharokandidatos; he was owner of a seal dateable between the mid-seventh century and the mid-eighth: Zacos and Veglery 2561. Obv.: cruciform monogram of Θεοτόκε βοήθει, with the name Θ - ω - μ - α in the corners. Rev.: + βασι - λικω σπ - αθαροκ - ανδιδ - ατω+.
