Thomas 30 was a disypatos and chartoularios; owner of a seal of uncertain date, possibly eighth or ninth century: Konstantopoulos, JIAN 9, 588b. The text reads: Θωμᾶ δεσηπάτου χαρτουλαρίου. Cf. Winkelmann, Rangstruktur, p. 132; Ferluga, Actes XIIe Congr. Int. Et. Byz. (Belgrade, 1964), p. 87, n. 21 suggested identifying this man with the Thomas disypatos mentioned in the letters of Theodoros 15 (Theodore the Stoudite) and the Scriptor Incertus (Thomas 6).
