Thomas 15 was a patrikios, genikos logothetes and kommerkiarios of the apotheke of Thessalonike; owner of a seal dateable to 726/727 (see below): DOSeals I 18.49 = Zacos and Veglery 233. Obv.: (νδικτίων) ι'. Θωμᾶ πατρικίου, γενικοῦ λογοθέτου. Rev.: (καὶ) κομμερκιαρίου ἀποθήκης Θεσαλονίκις. The obverse has busts of emperors and on iconographic grounds the seal is assigned to the reign of Leo III, between 720 and 732; the tenth indiction is therefore 726/727; see DOSeals I, p. 69, note. Cf. also Thomas 16 and Thomas 41; the three men may possibly have been all one and the same person, stages of whose career are represented by these seals.
