Theophylaktos 107 was a patrikios and strategos of the Armeniakoi; addressee of a letter from Photios 1, written between 26 May 866 and 23 Sept. 867; Theophylaktos 107 had been told (cf. Anonymi 24 and Anonymus 605) that Photios 1 was hostile to him and Photios 1 wrote in reply asserting his friendship for Theophylaktos 107 and telling him not to believe those who said otherwise; he adds that Theophylaktos 107 was known as a loyal friend of the emperors: Photius, Ep 21 (I 72f. Laourdas-Westerink) (addressed Θεοφυλάκτῳ πατρικίῳ καὶ στρατηγῷ Ἀρμενιακῶν. Possibly identical with Theophylaktos patrikios who took part in the anti-Photian Council of 869/870 (PBE II).
