Theophylaktos 99 was a hypatos and epi ton orphanon; owner of a seal dateable to the ninth century: Zacos and Veglery 2535A. Obv.: cruciform monogram of Θεοτόκε βοήθει, with τω - σω - δου - [λω] in the corners. Rev.: [+][Θ]εοφυ - [λακ] τ' υπα - .. [ε]πι τ' ορ - ..νων. The name and titles read: Θεοφυλάκτῳ ὑπάτῳ καὶ ἐπὶ τῶν ὀρφανῶν.
