Theophylaktos 81 was a hypatos; owner of two slightly different seals dateable to the eighth century: Zacos and Veglery 2533a and b. Obv.: (a and b) cruciform monogram of Θεοτόκε βοήθει, with τω - σω - δου - λω in the corners. Rev.: (a) cruciform monogram of Θεοφυλακτω, with υ - πα - τ - ω in the corners; (b) cruciform monogram of Θεοφυλάκτω, with υπ - α - τ - ω in the corners. The monograms of the name are not identical on the two reverses.
