Theophylaktos 61 was a hypatos and dioiketes of the eparchiai; owner of a seal dateable to the late seventh century or the early eighth: Laurent, Corpus II, no. 1175 (dated late seventh or early eighth century) = Konstantopoulos, JIAN 9, 326a (undated). The name and titles read: Θεοφυλάκτῳ ὑπάτῳ καὶ διοικητῇ τῶν ἐ[πα]ρχίων. Cf. Winkelmann, Rangstruktur, p. 134.
