Theophylaktos 32 was a basilikos spatharokandidatos and doux of Calabria; owner of a seal dateable to the eighth or ninth century: DOSeals I 4.8 = Zacos and Veglery 2551. Obv.: cruciform monogram of Θεοτόκε (or Κύριε) βοήθει, with τω - σω - δου - λω in the corners. Rev.: +Θεο - φυλακτω - β' σπ'θ κδδ - (και) δουκ' Κ - αλ'. The name and titles read: Θεοφυλάκτῳ βασιλικῷ σπαθαροκανδιδάτῳ καὶ δουκὶ Καλαβρίας.
