Theophilos 46 was a basilikos vestitor; owner of a seal dateable to the second half of the ninth century: Zacos and Veglery 2525. Obv.: cruciform monogram of Θεοτόκε βοήθει, with τω - σω - δου - λω in the corners. Rev.: [Θ] εοφ - ιλω βαση - ληκω βες - τητωρη. The name and title read: Θεοφίλῳ βασιλικῷ βεστίτορι. The betas are in the form of a Roman capital "R", indicating a date not before the first half of the ninth century.
