Theophilos 16 was a deacon, kouboukleisios and protonotarios; owner of a seal dateable to the second half of the ninth century: Laurent, Corpus V 1, no. 120. Obv.: St Kallinikos with the legend ὁ ἅγιος Καλλίνικος and the invocative formula Με[γ]αλομάρτυς τῷ δούλῳ σου βοήθ(ει). Rev.: + - Θεοφί - λῳ διακ(όνῳ) κου - βουκλισ(ίῳ) (καὶ) - (πρωτο)νοταρ(ίῳ)).
