Theophanes 41 was a meizoteros; owner of a seal dateable between the mid eighth century and the mid ninth: Zacos and Veglery 2507. Obv.: cruciform monogram of Θεοτόκε βοήθει, with τω - σω - δου - [λω] in the corners. Rev.: Θεω - φανη - μηζο - τ'. The name and title read: Θεοφάνῃ μειζοτέρῳ.
