Theophanes 36 was a hypatos; owner of two similar seals dateable to the first half of the eighth century: Zacos and Veglery 2506a and 2506b. Obv.: (a and b) cruciform monogram of Θεοτόκε βοήθει, with τω - δου - λω - σ[ου] in the corners. Rev.: (a and b) Θεοφ - ανει υ - πατω.
