Theopemptos 6 was a protostratelates; owner of a seal dateable to the seventh century: Schlumberger, Sig., p. 367, no. 6. The text given by Schlumberger reads: +Θεοπεμπτου α'στρατηλατη (i.e. πρωτοστρατηλάτῃ). This title seems to be unparalleled; if correctly read, it is presumably honorific, like stratelates. The title also occurs in a seal from London published by Gray Birch, 17800, where the text reads: Θεοπέμπτου πρωτοστρατηλάτου. This is perhaps the same seal as the above.
