Theoktistos 12 was a hypatos and genikos kommerkiarios of the apotheke of the paralos of Pontus; owner of a seal dateable by the indiction to 727/728: Zacos and Veglery 2765. Obv.: in the upper half, busts of the emperors Leo III (Leo 3) and Constantine V (Konstantinos 7), with in field left the abbreviation for indiction and in field right the number ια' (i.e. 11); below the busts, the text: Θεοκτις - του υπα - το[υ]. Rev.: (καὶ) γενικ - ου κομμε - ρκιαριου α - ποθηκης τ - [η]ς παραλ - [ο]υ του Πον - τ... The name and titles read: Θεοκτίστου ὑπάτου καὶ γενικοῦ κομμερκιαρίου ἀποθήκης τῆς παράλου τοῦ Πόντου.
