Theognostos 18 was a xenodochos of the xenodocheion of the monastery of Stoudios, mentioned in an epigram of Theodoros 15 (Theodore the Stoudite) composed for the xenodocheion (Εἰς τὸ ξενοδοχεῖον): Theod. Stud., Epigrammata 29, cf. line 7 (μοι ... τῷ Θεογνώστῳ). The date was in c. 799 or later. On the occurrence of the name here, see Speck, Jamben, p. 174, note on line 7.
