Theognostos 14 was a hypatos and archon of the basilika armamenta; owner of a seal dateable to the ninth century: Zacos and Veglery 2491. Obv.: cruciform monogram of Κύριε βοήθει, with τω - σω - δου - λω in the corners. Rev.: Θεογ - νοστω υπ' - (καὶ) αρχ' των - β' αρμα'. The name and titles read: Θεογνώστῳ ὑπάτῳ καὶ ἄρχοντι τῶν βασιλικῶν ἀρμαμέντων.
