Theognostos 12 was a protostrator; owner of a seal dateable to the second half of the eighth century: Zacos and Veglery 2494. Obv.: cruciform monogram of Θεοτόκε βοήθει, with τω - σω - δου - λω in the corners. Rev.: +Θεω - γνοστο - προτος - τρατορ -ι+.
