Theodotos 38 was a hypatos and komes; owner of a seal dateable to the eighth century: Zacos and Veglery 2483. Obv.: cruciform monogram of Θεοτόκε βοήθει, with τω - σω - δου - [λ]ω in the corners. Rev.: Θεοδο - τω υπα[τ] - ω (καὶ) κομ. - τη+; above, a cross with tendrils.
