Theodotos 30 was a notarios of the genikon logothesion; owner of a seal dateable to the first half of the eighth century: Zacos and Veglery 2484A. Obv.: cruciform monogram of Χριστέ, βοήθει, with the name Θεο - δο - τ - ω in the corners. Rev.: νοταρ' - του γενι - κου λογ - οθεσ'. The name and title read: Θεοδότῳ νοταρίῳ τοῦ γενικοῦ λογοθεσίου. The same seal is published also by Laurent, Corpus II, no. 389, where the name and title are read as: Θεοδότῳ νοταρίῳ τοῦ γενικοῦ λογοθέτ(ου), and the prayer is addressed to the Theotokos rather than to Christos.
