Theodosios 73 was a priest and the hegoumenos of the monastery of Pikridion; he is mentioned in three letters of Theodoros 15 (Theodore the Stoudite) written in c. 816/817; he was a supporter of icons and was one of the signatories of two letters addressed to pope Paschal I (Paschalios 1): Theod. Stud., Ep. 267, pp. 394-395 (L 816/E 817) (ὁ τοῦ Πικριδίου, sc. ἡγουμένος: p. 395, line 30); 271, pp. 399-401 (815/818); 272, pp. 402-403 (summer/autumn 817) (called in both letters ἐλάχιστος πρεσβύτερος καὶ ἡγουμένος τοῦ Πικριδίου: Ep. 271, p. 400, lines 4-5; Ep. 272, p. 402, lines 4-5).
