Theodosios 9 was bishop of Sebasteia in Armenia Secunda; he subscribed the statement of the faith condemning monotheletism, which was produced by the Third Council of Constantinople (the Sixth Ecumenical Council) in 681; he is not attested as present at any of the eighteen sessions, but his name leads a group of nine bishops whose signatures to the faith end the list of those who subscribed; he is styled Θεοδόσιος ἐλέει Θεοῦ ἐπίσκοπος τῆς Σεβαστηνῶν μητροπόλεως τῆς δευτέρας τῶν Ἀρμενίων ἐπαρχίας: Riedinger, p. 796, lines 12-13 (= Mansi XI 653).
