Theodoros 329 was a brother of the patriarch Photius (Photios 1) and the addressee of a surviving letter from him; the letter, of uncertain date (therefore between c. 859 and c. 886) is theological in content: Photius, Ep. 138 (I 190 Laourdas-Westerink) (addressed Θεοδώρῳ ἀδελφῷ). He was therefore brother of Konstantinos 261, Sergios 107 and Tarasios 5, and a son of Sergios 16 and Eirene 6. He was probably exiled with his parents and the rest of the family during the reign of the emperor Theophilos 5, for supporting the veneration of icons contrary to imperial orders; cf. Synax. Const. 682, 18ff. (unnamed), Menol. Bas. 453D (unnamed).
