Theodoros 323 was a monk and the addressee of three letters from Theodoros 15 (Theodore the Stoudite) written between 815 and 826: Theod. Stud., Ep. 427, pp. 597-599 (a. 815/826?); 446, pp. 629-631 (a. 821/826); 477, pp. 687-695 (a. 821/826) (all addressed Θεοδώρῳ μονάζοντι). He had written letters to Theodoros 15 and also sent him a copy of a work he had written (ἐγκύκλιος ἐπιστολή ἤτοι θεραπευτική: p. 687, line 3) in which he proposed strict rules for the punishment of iconoclasts; his views were rejected by Theodoros 15 who wrote him a reply strongly critical though very respectful: Theod. Stud., Ep. 477, pp. 687-695. He is styled τῆς τιμιότητος σου, Ep. 477, p. 687, line 2; and σου τὴν θεοσέβειαν, Ep. 427, p. 597, line 2; and addressed as πάτερ, Ep. 427, p. 598, line 12; θεοτίμητε ἀδελφέ and τιμιώτατε, Ep. 446, p. 631, line 42, p. 629, line 2, respectively; and ἀδελφέ, Ep. 477, p. 687, line 4. He was evidently a fellow monk but probably senior to Theodoros 15.
