Theodoros 291 was a basilikos spatharios and epi tou idikou basilikou logou; owner of a seal dateable to the ninth century: Zacos and Veglery 2459. Obv.: cruciform monogram of Θεοτόκε βοήθει, with τω - [σω] - δου - λω in the corners. Rev.: [Θεοδ]ω - ρω [β'] σπα' (και) - επι τ' ιδικ' - β' λογ'. The name and titles read: [Θεοδ]ώρῳ βασιλικῶ σπαθαρίῳ καὶ ἐπὶ τοῦ ἰδικοῦ βασιλικοῦ λόγου.
