Theodoros 283 was metropolitan bishop of Synnada; owner of a seal dateable to the eighth century (DOSeals; Zacos and Veglery), possibly to the second half (Laurent): DOSeals III 98.1 = Zacos and Veglery 2440 = Laurent, Corpus V 3, no. 1740. Obv.: cruciform monogram of Θεοτόκε βοήθει, with το - δου - .ο - σου in the corners. Rev.: + - Θεωδω - ρω μητρω - πωλιτι Συ - ναδον - +. The name and title read: Θεοδώρῳ μητρωπωλίτι Συνάδον. Possibly immediate predecessor of Michael 6; cf. Laurent, op. cit., note ad loc..
