Theodoros 246 was a kandidatos and apo hypaton; owner of seals dateable between the mid seventh century and the mid eighth: Zacos and Veglery 700a and b. The name and titles perhaps read: Θεοδώρου κανδιδάτου καὶ ἀπὸ ὑπάτων, but this combination of titles is unlikely and the solution of the monogram as ἀπὸ ὑπάτων may be wrong. Possibly this man is identical with Theodoros 247, owner of a similar seal, and the monogram interpreted as ὑπάρχῳ or ἀπὸ ἐπάρχων.
