Theodoros 238 was an archbishop, of an unidentified see; owner of a seal dateable to the late seventh century or the early eighth: Zacos and Veglery 1312. Obv.: bust of a bishop Saint, bearded, facing; right hand raised in benediction, left hand holding a jewelled copy of the Gospels; on left and right, a cross. Rev.: cruciform monogram of Θεοτόκε βοήθει, surrounded by a circular inscription, the surviving letters reading +Θεοδωρω αρχιεπ... The name of the see is missing, but could perhaps be revealed if the identity of the saint were to be established.
