Theodoros 230 was a basilikos protospatharios and kommerkiarios of Chaldia; owner of two similar seals dateable to the second half of the ninth century: Zacos II 306a and b. Obv.: (306a) cross potent on base and two steps, with the legend .....η τω σω δουλω; (306b) cross potent on base and two steps, with tendrils, with the legend +Κ(υρι)ε βοηθη τω [σω δ]ουλω. Rev.: (306a) Θεωδ - ορω β' α' σ[π] - αθαρ' (και) κο - μερκ' Χα - λδια; (306b) +Θεοδω - ρω β' α' σπα - θ' (και) κωμερ - κιαριω Χ - αλδια. The name and titles read: Θεοδώρῳ βασιλικῷ πρωτοσπαθαρίῳ καὶ κομερκιαρίῳ Χαλδίας. Cf. Theodoros 114.
